About[]
A cult dedicated to Visser under the guise of a historical society/social club. A number of Visser residents have joined up, and meet biweekly/fortnightly in one resident or another's, often Samuel's, apartment to share history tidbits, eat snacks, and listen to Samuel talk. The group is led by former academic Samuel, with some help from his great admirer, Jacob Lester.
History[]
The historical society was formed between 1990 and 1994, by Samuel following his move to Visser. A number of residents joined up. When Visser collapsed, historical society members who were in the building joined The Chorus, a circle of Visser's greatest admirers. Samuel was, for his failings, not allowed in, and his second, Jacob, was outside the building.
People[]
Samuel[]
Charismatic leader and creator of the historical society, he uses the group to appeal to Visser. His interest lies more with Visser than with his society, but he still calls it his society. He's unimpressed with Melody's bothering the group.
Jacob Lester[]
Follows Samuel around, introduces him at meetings, and is there to back him up. He lacks Samuel's charisma or confidence but believes in the society as much as he does. When separated from the historical society, he becomes lost and lonely, and is so delighted to be reunited with them.
