"Visser wants more, more sex, more death, more lives, more stories"
Nature[]
The Choir is an entity best described as greedy, always wanting more sacrifices, devotion, experiences. It is described as existing and wanting in cycles. Like other Leviathans, it is dangerous, but not truly evil, and, while demanding, values its devotees. It is one of the few Leviathans with an interest in humans.
Physical Appearance[]
While lacking a true physical form in the way The Curator has, The Choir spends some time wearing the skin of an apartment building. In another form, it surrounds itself with The Chorus, a singing group of it's followers.
History[]
An old entity, The Choir was given a chance to establish a physical presence on Earth by the Vos family around 1951, when they built The Visser Building. While never becoming the building, it wore it like a skin, and was responsible for a range of odd occurrences and effects of the residents, often subtly drawing people to it for various reasons. In 1994, Samuel attempted to use a series of tape recordings taken by Melody Pendras to complete a ritual, and was defeated. While much of the power still remained within the tapes, Visser collapsed, and most everyone inside was taken into The City, with the exception of Samuel who is cast out, and The Visser Historical Society, who joined The Chorus. Having defeated Visser, Melody retained a portion of its power.
In 2015, LMG hired Daniel Powell to reattempt the ritual, under the guise of a digitizing project. Holding a piece of Visser, Dan became intensely obsessed and driven to "complete the story" and finish the ritual, which was eventually done with the "aid" of Samuel. The Story complete, Dan's piece of Visser was pulled from him as he fled. The Choir brought Samuel into The Chorus, and a one-way hole between Earth and The City was opened.
In 2016, Jacob Lester finally joins The Chorus as well.
