Summary[]

  • Nicholas and Chris find themselves in what appears to be a drawing room, and have a conversation with Aleister over a two-way radio.
  • Aleister tells them a little about the house, Christine threatens him. He hangs up, and Chris destroys the radio.
  • They observe the recorder has attached itself to Nicholas' arm, and proceed to explore the rest of Aleister's House, encountering many wonderful and awful things.
  • Chris is briefly possessed by a spirit contained within a statue.
  • After three hours, they have been through 14 rooms, and are growing hungry.
  • Nicholas and Chris encounter Kathy Quinn, who immediately attempts to attack them, though she is overpowered by Christine.
  • She explains she has been travelling, trapped, through the house, and is sustained by eyeballs and the tears of a comatose man.
  • The siblings leave her and continue walking.
  • Chris vomits up another tape, containing a recording of Michael and Aleister in hostile discussion about Aleister's want to create the house. It is followed by a message from Dan, offering to help, and advising they seek a pond and kill whatever is inside it.
  • Nicholas and Chris pass through a room containing large bees.
  • The siblings find the pond, which contains what seems to be a talking goldfish. They find themselves trusting it to an unnatural degree, and when asked, the fish agrees to let them kill it, on the condition they feed it's body to Aleister.
  • The fish dies, and Nicholas and Chris find themselves in Aleister's office within The Cult's compound

Trivia[]

  • If Christine had not destroyed the two way radio in the first room, it's possible Dan could've broadcast to speak with them
  • Some encounters and rooms within the house are loosely designed after the siblings' recent experiences
