Nicholas goes on a magical adventure of his own.
Events of Note[]
- Nicholas and Christine summon Static Man to hang out, and in an attempt to strengthen connections.
- Christine throws up 3 tapes.
- Static Man requests help with something while she listens to them.
- Christine listens to the tapes. They contain a 911 call about The Visser Building, an old recording of Dan and bandmates, and one of Xkryxx's songs.
- Nicholas and Static Man listen to a tape of a payphone customer going back on their agreement (and hacking off their own leg).
- Static Man reveals he is trying to find the system in order to get his old body back.
- Nicholas and Static Man perform a ritual together, sharing secrets to reveal the location of the Payphone System.
- Christine throws up half a tape.
- Nicholas and Static Man confront and kill Payphone, who reveals this will not restore Static Man's body, and gives Nicholas a half tape. Distressed, Static Man asks Nicholas to turn the recorder off.
- Nicholas and Chris meet back up, their two halves of the tape fuse together.
- Static Man shows up briefly, apparently just to check in and say thanks.
