Summary[]
Christine vomits another tape with a message from Dan: "Everything matters, Everything is important, You must be purified." Nicholas theorises that the vomiting up and listening of the tapes is part of the ritual, perhaps "purifying" them. Christine thinks that's baloney.
We hear a commercial from LMG, mentioning the Vos foundation.
Nicholas and Chris get a package of what they suspect to be illicit substances (magic drugs). They get a message that says to deliver the substance to the people who requested it. Their reward is the contents of a gold foil package. Chris volunteers to do the deliveries.
The first delivery is to a Penelope Winthrop at the wax cylinder department of a university. Penelope asks for Christine for assistance with an experiment. The second delivery Jerome at a club. He uses the drugs in a "special" fog machine. The third delivery seems to be delivered to teenagers. The fourth is to Jeanette Jefferys, who has aspirations of Harry Potter magic. Chris warns her not to take it and instead hooks her up with someone who deals with shrooms.
Lastly, Kathy Quinn, who reveals she knows about Chris and Nicholas' involvement in the ██████ Ritual, Christine opening the door, and their father. She also shows Chris her collection of Tapes, playing one containing an episode of a podcast called "No one knows what happened" from RLR productions in Brooklyn. The podcast discusses the people Aleister trapped in a cave. Kathy warns them about Aleister, and offers to locate more information on the ██████ Ritual within the Waters' House, in exchange for 3 of Michael Waters' tapes. Chris declines this offer.
Nicholas look into Kathy Quinn and finds little bar her interview in an episode of Real Life Reimagined, where she was obsessed with searching for a lost radio signal. Nicholas questions committing to The Ritual, now knowing who their opposition is, much to Chris' annoyance. Nicholas reveals he may have another way to gain information on the the ██████ Ritual, though he's not comfortable with it. He turns the recorder off.
