Summary[]
The contest is between Clara and a mercenary named Kevin. He was the one that sabotaged the gear of his colleagues during the radio mission that ran into the leviathans that you had to sing to get them to go away. His betrayal was to prevent more weirdness from entering the shared reality. What happened to Ben, his son, is that he was killed by an unknown creature. He also knew Caroline before she became Suit by LMG.
