Rat introduces their new radios, Mother (for The Outpost) and Portable (for Clara and Lou), which they can use to call the outpost. Dan is given a device to alert him when they call, with a terrible ringtone and a horrid feeling in his bones.
Clara and Lou leave.
Dan learns enough about the Leviathans to make him panic.
Dan attempts to appeal to the new boss that they need to be cautious, but is instead shut down and verbally abused, told he's a monster, not a person.
Dan finds information on The Boatwoman, who will help people cross the river, for a price.
Lou calls in to say they made it to the river safely. Dan gives him the information.
